The Founder of Mou Tak Ding

Mou Tak Ding is a 30-year-old family business concern who was started by Chan Yee Moh, who is now in his 70s. He first started a fruit and drink stall in Pudu. Later on he moved to Petaling Street and started to experiment with his very own concoction of the longan drink (air mata kucing). His business started to grow since then.

Chan Pooi Hwa, 48, Yee Moh’s daughter, who started helping her father at the stall at the age of 12 is now taking over his business. She also make a franchise in Mid Valley which is doing very well.

The only reason of why they are so successful is because of their taste and services. According to Pooi Hwa to ensured the survival of her father’s business there are a few things which has to be follow:

1. “Sensitivity towards the customer’s taste buds is a very important aspect in the food business.

2. “As long as your drink is good, they will come back. But the moment you begin to compromise on your ingredients, you will lose them.

3. “And never forget, the customer is always right,”

Dear all,

Since the Mou Tak Ding (famous air mata kucing drink) is only located in a certain place like Petaling Street and Mid Valley, we decided to bring and sell in Cyberjaya...!!! People who are craving for it, can now buy it in Multimedia University Cyberjaya campus. For those who never try before have the chance to try this superb drink. We welcome everyone to visit our stall in week 10 at Misri Plaza.
